During COP30 of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, the Center for Environmental Education and Communications of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the China Champions for Climate Action jointly released the 2025 Climate Action Case Collection for Enterprises (Parks), showcasing 27 innovative Chinese practices and achievements in addressing climate change. CECEP Solar Energy Technology (Zhenjiang) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the Zhenjiang Company) was selected for its zero-carbon factory case, which stood out for its systematic decarbonization pathway and replicable results.?

Drawing on years of experience in energy conservation and carbon reduction, the Zhenjiang Company summarized a comprehensive roadmap for building a zero-carbon factory based on three core approaches: photovoltaic energy, digital intelligent manufacturing and hardware-based energy efficiency. This framework has enabled the company to drive a transformative, system-wide shift toward green operations. Its selection not only recognizes the company’s leading role in green manufacturing and climate governance, but also provides a replicable and scalable model for the photovoltaic industry and for China’s broader industrial green transition.?

Looking ahead, the Zhenjiang Company will continue to advance its efforts under China’s dual-carbon goals, extending its proven practices, including PV-powered energy supply, digital monitoring and full-chain energy conservation, to broader fields such as industrial park planning, industry collaboration and ecological management. It aims to upgrade from factory-level to park-level low-carbon development and to remain at the forefront of green transformation in the industry.?
