In February 2025, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released its latest list of nationally recognized green manufacturing enterprises, and Yantai New Era Health Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Yantai Health), a subsidiary of China New Era Group Corporation, was selected once again. This marks the fourth consecutive year that Yantai Health has been designated as a National Green Factory.

The state implements dynamic management for companies that receive this designation, requiring them to continuously improve their performance indicators, carry out ongoing green and low-carbon upgrades, and maintain an advanced level of green manufacturing. In addition, these companies must annually summarize and report on their green manufacturing achievements. Since its initial recognition in 2021, Yantai Health has ensured that its performance indicators—including comprehensive energy consumption per unit product, raw and auxiliary material usage, and carbon emissions—remain at excellent levels by adopting measures such as intensive production, constructing rooftop photovoltaic power stations, establishing an energy management system, and developing a smart energy management platform. At the same time, the company has taken a leading role in green supply chain management, driving both upstream and downstream enterprises toward collective green development.?

Being designated as a National Green Factory for four consecutive years not only confirms the government’s and society’s recognition of the company’s long-term efforts in environmental protection and energy conservation, but also serves as a powerful motivation to continue advancing. Looking ahead, Yantai Health will persist in its pursuit of green, low-carbon and high-quality development, making even greater contributions to achieving the national goals of carbon peak and carbon neutrality and to the construction of an ecological civilization.
