On June 20, CQEC delivered Asia’s largest ranching-photovoltaics integration project—the 300MW integrated energy project for China New Life in Kokdala City (Fourth Division)—which passed final acceptance inspection.

Organized by the construction unit, the acceptance process included on-site inspections, document reviews and deliberation meetings to comprehensively evaluate engineering quality, equipment performance and safety systems. The panel unanimously confirmed the project met design specifications with complete documentation, stable equipment operation and qualified construction quality, granting formal acceptance approval.

Located in Kokdala City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, the project spans 6,258 hectares (9,388 mu) and integrates: administrative and dormitory buildings, modern fattening cattle pens covering 720,000 m2 (capacity: 50,000 Wagyu cattle), comprehensive veterinary care center, high-efficiency total mixed ration (TMR) center, and advanced substation and power transmission lines.

Adopting a sustainable Eco-oriented Development (EOD) + Ranching-photovoltaics Synergy + Low-carbon Energy + Integrated Grass-livestock Farming model, the operational facility features 300MW photovoltaic capacity. It will annually supply 537.66 GWh of clean electricity to the grid, saving 171,800 tons of standard coal while reducing CO2 emissions by 468,800 tons. This milestone project will optimize regional energy infrastructure and accelerate green, low-carbon socioeconomic development.
