The 19th China Enterprise Lecture Series was held at the Group Headquarters on November 17. The event was attended by leaders and guests including Peng Huagang, President of the China Enterprise Reform and Development Society, and Shu Yinbiao, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. Liao Jiasheng, Secretary of the Group’s Party Committee and Chairman, attended the event and delivered an address. Cao Huabin, Deputy General Manager of the Group, gave a presentation on "Energy Substitution and Energy Efficiency Improvement: Supporting the Green and Low-Carbon Transition During the 15th Five-Year Plan".

In his address, Liao Jiasheng emphasized that, as a central enterprise primarily focused on energy conservation and environmental protection, CECEP deeply studies and implements Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization. The Group firmly establishes and practices the principle that "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets". CECEP continuously exerts efforts in areas such as clean energy substitution, energy and carbon standard formulation, and enterprise standardization, genuinely serving the nation's energy transition and green, low-carbon development, thus contributing the strength of CECEP to the construction of a beautiful China and the national dual carbon goals. Based on CECEP's exploration and practice, Liao Jiasheng proposed relevant initiatives concerning the establishment of an energy standard system, co-building ecological standards and formulating international standards.?

This lecture series was hosted by the China Enterprise Reform and Development Society and co-organized by CECEP. The event, themed "Standardization and Energy Revolution: China’s Path Under the Dual Carbon Goals", aimed to interpret the latest national policies, explore the transformation paths for energy enterprises, and share innovative practices in the field of energy conservation and environmental protection, offering ideas and lessons for promoting the comprehensive green transition of economic and social development. Shu Yinbiao, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 36th President of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), and President of the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering, delivered a keynote report titled "Promoting the Internationalization of Energy Standards and Leading the Green Low-Carbon Revolution". Guo Xingtian, Chairman of Wanhua Ecological Industry Group Co., Ltd., gave a thematic presentation on "Wanhua Ecology's Practice in the Revolution of Building Energy Use". Xinhuanet, the website of People's Political Consultative Conference, finance.sina.com.cn, ifeng.com, finance.163.com, and the website of the Enterprise Observer provided live online coverage of the entire event. Representatives from several central enterprises, local state-owned enterprises, private enterprises and research institutions participated in the activity.?
