On December 5th, the 2023 China-Europe Cooperation Partnership Dialogue, jointly organized by the National Development and Reform Commission and the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality, was held in Beijing. Song Xin, Chairman of CECEP, was invited to attend the event and delivered a speech as a senior representative of Chinese enterprises. 

Song Xin expressed that both China and Europe adhere to the path of green and low-carbon development. In recent years, Chinese and European enterprises have carried out fruitful cooperation in areas such as green energy, green manufacturing and green services, establishing close connections. Green has become the most prominent theme in their cooperation. Over the long term, CECEP has engaged in extensive and practical exchanges and collaboration with numerous European enterprises in areas such as technological exchange, intelligent systems, equipment products and green park projects. Moving forward, CECEP will seize the opportunities in carbon reduction and green transformation and deepen cooperation with European enterprises in four aspects. Firstly, strengthening coordinated actions to address climate change, supporting the steady progress of the Paris Agreement, and making greater contributions to global climate change mitigation. Secondly, enhancing cooperation in green and low-carbon technology to promote the green and low-carbon development of industrial parks, facilitate local green transformation and achieve carbon neutrality goals. Thirdly, strengthening alignment and cooperation on low-carbon standards, jointly promoting research cooperation on standards for green transformation at the park level, comprehensive energy efficiency improvement, and product carbon footprint accounting, in order to guide the green and low-carbon development of industrial parks, industrial products and industrial chains. Fourthly, enhancing collaboration on the implementation of low-carbon business models, promoting innovation in China-Europe low-carbon business models, and facilitating the implementation of more high-quality projects. ?
